Method of selection : Parcel selection based on vine age and vineyard condition.

Vinification : Traditional vinification with rack-and-return (délestage). Long maceration (3 to 4 weeks).

Yield : 30–40 hl/ha

Alcohol content : 14.5%

Ageing & Packaging : Ageing on fine lees in stainless steel tanks in an insulated, temperature-controlled cellar.

Tasting notes : Beautiful deep ruby colour.

Expressive nose of crushed small black fruits and morello cherry.

The palate is complex, with notes of mocha and chocolate, supported by silky and elegant tannins.

The finish reveals black pepper and roasted spice notes, with fine complexity and good persistence.

A lovely wine with character.
