Vinification : Traditional vinification with rack-and-return (délestage). Long maceration (3 to 4 weeks).
Yield : 30–40 hl/ha
Alcohol content : 14%
Ageing & Packaging : Ageing on fine lees in stainless steel tanks in an insulated, temperature-controlled cellar.
Tasting notes : Very beautiful dark colour with black highlights.
The nose reveals macerated black fruits, with notes of Burlat cherry pit and sweet spices, complemented by a hint of mocha.
The palate is full, generous and rich, with very good balance, showing intense fruit aromas along with notes of mocha, chocolate and clove.
A very fine, intense finish marked by freshness, complexity and macerated fruit, with excellent persistence.
